How points and depth work
Each accepted answer belongs to one of five tiers: 10, 30, 60, 85 or 100 points. The game assigns these tiers within its own answer lists. They are editorial choices, not live statistics of what other players typed.
Depth equals your total score multiplied by ten. A 60-point answer adds 600 metres; seven 100-point answers reach 700 points and 7,000 metres. The water colour and ocean zone change as you descend.
| SCORE | DEPTH |
|---|---|
| 10 | 100m |
| 30 | 300m |
| 60 | 600m |
| 85 | 850m |
| 100 | 1000m |
Why can a valid answer be rejected?
The answer bank is finite. A real-world answer may be valid but not yet listed, or its translated spelling may be missing. Try its English name or another example, then inspect the accepted list after the dive. Do not treat the list as an exhaustive encyclopedia.
