Krillion Sports: sports trivia and answer strategies
Updated:
What is Krillion Sports here?
Krillion Sports is sports-only recall practice in this independent edition. Its 35 prompts cover competition categories, rules, strokes, events, and sporting terminology. Each round uses seven prompts and the same five scoring tiers as other themes. You answer in text; you do not predict match results, place bets, or need a live sports feed.
Match the sporting category, not just the sport
A throwing-event prompt asks for an event, not a famous athlete. A swimming-stroke prompt asks for a stroke, not a race distance. A tournament prompt asks for the competition, not its champion. This distinction is often more useful than memorising a long list of names: first identify the field, then choose a registered answer within it.
Real prompts and scored answer examples
Examples come directly from this site's current question bank. They are not an answer sheet for today's game on another publisher's website. The two answers shown for each prompt illustrate lower and higher tiers; open the theme library for more samples.

Use the examples below to separate athletics events, swimming strokes, and tennis tournaments. In an untimed round, recall at least two candidates before submitting one. Review the accepted list after the round, then repeat with the timer. A higher score reflects this game's assigned answer tier, not an athlete's quality, popularity today, or a live ranking.

How scoring works in this edition
An accepted answer earns 10, 30, 60, 85, or 100 points. Total depth is ten times your score, so seven 100-point answers reach 700 points and 7,000 metres. These tiers are curated game values, not measurements of what other players entered. A skip or timeout earns zero; the countdown keeps running if you switch tabs.
Why is a real answer sometimes rejected?
The registered list is finite. A valid place, term, or translated spelling may not be in it yet. Capitalisation, punctuation, and Latin accents are normalised, and registered aliases work, but this is not an encyclopedia validator. Try the English name or a listed alternative, and report missing answers with the exact prompt and spelling.
Is this the official Krillion game?
No. This website is an independent implementation with its own code, artwork, question bank, and scores. It is not affiliated with Krillion.io. Other sites may offer different packs, answer lists, access terms, timers, or leaderboards. Our examples and scores apply only to this edition; check the original publisher for its own game and terms.
